A Shovelful of Love Helped my Heart Fill Up!
Blessed Bliss Year 2 My Love, My Man.

The first time I looked into your eyes, I realized what purpose, what reason that black empty hole had for laying there in wait all my life.  At that moment, you started throwing a shovelful of love into that hole, on top of that black, loveless, lifeless heart. When you started the burial; Oh, it hurts so bad to watch it slowly decay. I begged it not to leave me, I coveted it so closely to my chest, cleaving it tightly, with raw bloody fingers. I tried to uncover it and bring it back to death. I fought it tooth and nail. You would put a shovelful in and I would dig two back out. Every shovelful you threw in was bigger and bigger, till I couldn't dig as fast as you were filling it up.
One day without notice I was standing on top of the hole, no longer empty but full, overfull. Spilling love out all over and giving life to a blooming, growing, feeling, beautiful dark red heart.  You spend time fertilizing, watering and tending that heart with love and respect everyday now.  It continuously blooms with beautiful flowers aptly named hope, love, faith, trust, respect, honesty, kindness, caring and many other things. Till that heart has turned into a garden of wonderful, vibrant flowers.  You the gardener always looking after it, clipping the dead leaves, covering the roots, pruning and shaping it, fixing and mending the fence, freshly painting the lifestone, that reads "here lies your home". Among the lifestones you have placed in our garden are others that read.  "Live here, thrive here, continue to grow here", "I will keep you safe in this glorious garden", "I will let you bloom, grow and spread out in my wonderful never ending meadow". "I will keep you safe from emotional tornadoes, floods, earthquakes and hurricanes".  "I am your home, your security, your water filled well, drink from me for life". "Fill yourself with my life giving soil". "Wander along my strong stone pathways. "Stop and enjoy the beauty in my heart, the warmth of my arms".
At the end of his path he placed the most important lifestone of all. It simply reads, "true love is unselfish in its regard".
I see now that I am the garden that makes you fertilizer. Without one there is not the other.
Thank you for giving me your heart and being the soul that allows my heart to live and flourish with the most precious gift that can be given.  "True Love"  Heart, mind, body, and soul.
